This app provides you an estimate of the fruit weight you need to thin below, to minimise New Zealand non standard supply Hayward kiwifruit (or to thin to a size 42).

TOP TIPS:
  1. Please enter all dates in dd/mm/yyyy format if no calendar window appears when you select an input field.
  2. Remember to change calendar years from your full bloom date to your harvest and thinning dates.
  3. Reliability of prediction is poor before 70 days after full bloom.
  4. The prediction is based on industry fruit growth curves and does not take into account varying croploads, climatic conditions or management practices. Hence the result should be viewed as indicative only.
